A beautiful cold cast resin, hand painted dragon’s head door knocker with metal knocking ring and knob. The mystical dragon is a serpent-like, legendary creature that appears in countless folklore in many cultures around the world. Most often they are represented as large creatures having large wings, four legs (and often walk on their hind legs) horns and are capable of breathing fire. The earliest dragons resemble giant snakes. These dragons are first portrayed in the mythologies of the ancient Near East and appear in ancient Mesopotamian art and literature. The Dragon Head Door Knocker is made of cast resin and is hand painted. The dragon head is attached to a metal piece where there are four holes to make the attachment to your door, and a metal ring.
